After tattooing for 23 years, 7 1/2 great years working for Zulu Tattoo, my Husband and I felt it was finally time for me to venture out on my own. There is no ill will between myself and the Zulus. I still love and respect them deeply. I'm just not getting any younger, and the long hours were starting to take their toll. I need to have a more flexible schedule than is possible in a group shop, plus I want to focus more on my graphic design and fine art.
